The most important and highest level in German football league is the German Bundesliga. Most of the German teams are a real threat to the European league teams in the Champions League. The most promising in the German League is BAYERN MUNICH, with a record of winning 21 league titles. They are the current champions of German Bundesliga. This team has also won 4 UEFA league titles, making them as the successful German team.
The League was started in the year 1963 and most of the rules have been modified up to the present day. The league was founded by German Football Association, but the current operators of the league are Deutsche Fußball Liga. Totally 18 teams participate in this league and the top two teams qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
