Tactical Gear

The term “tactical gear” seems to be thrown around lately as more of a buzz-word than a real definition of a particular type or class of product. So what constitutes true tactical gear, and what is wannabe tactical gear?A good place to start would be to look at the requirements that someone has that would require tactical gear. The obvious groups to look at are military members, particularly Army soldiers and Marines. So what do these guys need? First, the gear must be utterly reliable. Imagine being in the heat of a battle and a strap breaks, or a buckle refuses to release, or a seam lets loose. Any of these malfunctions would ruin your day. And second, the gear must be functional. We’ve all seen the junk sold by various retailers that may look cool but you know it is just plain useless. Items that are supposed to make the user feel more military, I suppose, but they don’t really provide a necessary function. There are several top quality manufactures of tactical gear out there today. You can search the net for some popular company that revolutionized the Tactical Tailor industry. It should brought quality and, just as important, manufacturing capability to the tactical gear scene. Ask a recommendation froma friend or just browse their testimonial page to check the feedback of their customers.
