There is nothing to be surprised that Manchester United sits top in the premier league and they remain unbeaten this season. Even though, they suffer from Rooney scoring the goals unlike the last season, they’ve got contributions from other players like Nani, Berbatov, who is leading the goal scorer tally along with his old compatriot, Carlos Tevez, and feels he can win the golden boot for this season. Moreover, the defense has been rock solid and unshakeable. Vidic stands tall. None has escaped much from his defensive traps in this season and his partner, Rio Ferdinand supports him for everything. Despite of these records, one important point is that, whether they are as strong as other European giants, such as Barcelona, AC Milan? Can they compete with their attacking and defensive standards? Big task is ahead for the Red Devils to test their record performance in the UEFA champions league, where they meet Marseille.
