Review: Chelsea vs Man Utd 2011

Yesterday evening, everyone witnessed one of the most famous encounters in the Barclays Premier league. It was Chelsea, who welcomed the league leaders Manchester United to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea, who were in 5th place, has suffered a lot in this season with mixed type of results for them. Manchester United, who aren’t in their sparkling goal scoring season, had no results in favor of them at Stamford Bridge in the past. However, it was United who banged the net first, with a low powerful drive from Wayne Rooney, who hasn’t been in the scoring sheet this season. First half was completely dominated by United, with only one save for Van Der Saar to make just before the half time. But, second half was very competitive like “You attack I attack”. Both the teams attacked and it was Chelsea who won the battle with 2 goals. Honestly speaking, I didn’t like the way of referring in the match. Vidic was sent off, but David Luiz wasn’t. Why was that? He made 3 bad challenges, out of which he got only a yellow card. It wasn’t supposed to be like that. Anyhow, it was Chelsea’s day. I should appreciate about their performance, except for the referring J
