They are now levelled with Liverpool with the title number. Surely, United deserved this championship, as they came back from behind in this season after the Tokyo trip. It was on the cards, as players like Tevez, Berbatov, Rooney, Ronaldo, have helped the team to its 18th title. One should not forget about the defensive work of United, as Van der Saar kept a record of 11 continuous clean sheets, one ahead of Peter Cech, who had 10 clean sheets in 2004-05 season.
