His recent activities with the manager and the club indicates he may move out of United in the January transfer window, with still 20 months left on his contract. During the weekend’s match against West Bromwich Albion, he started from the bench, as an indication that he was recovering from an injury. However, the fact is, from Rooney’s recent press meeting, he was fit and ready to play, but Sir Alex didn’t want to take any chances as the press and media were around his personal life rather than his professional life. Apart from these news, the latest one is that, Rooney isn’t ready to sign another contract with the Red Devils and he may be on his way to Spanish teams like Real Madrid or Barcelona. But, the unexpected news is that, he may join the bitter rivals, The Eastlanders, Manchester City.
