Indian I-League Review

Odafe Onyeka Okolie found the net six times as Churchill Brothers thrashed Vasco SC 9-1 in round 16 of the Indian I-League.After 42 minutes without a goal the Nigerian put the hosts ahead, two minutes before Felix Chimaokwu made it 2-0 going into the break.Okolie hit two more goals in the 12 minutes after half-time to put the home side well in charge of the match, before Lester Fernandez pulled one back for the cellar-dwellers visitors with 22 minutes left to play.Four minutes later Chimaokwu hit his second goal of the night to make it 5-1, before Reisangmi Vashum scored his side's sixth after 77 minutes. But there was still time for Okolie to bag his second hat-trick of the night, with goals in the 82nd, 89th, and 90th minutes. The night's other game produced decidedly less excitement, however, as Air India played out a 0-0 draw with Dempo SC.
